HELLO CHEROKEE FORUM!

Let me start off with a brief introduction. My name is Jeff & I'm the owner of Rockridge 4WD. We are based in a smaller city named East Wenatchee that is located smack dab in the center of Washington State. We are really fortunate to live in such beautiful country. We are within 3 hours of every part of the state, we have a ski resort 12 miles from my home and 2 more not much further than about an hour and 15 minutes. East Wenatchee is located on the Columbia River at the foothills of the Cascades. Elevation from around 500 feet to 5500 feet within about 13 miles. We get a 100% all 4 seasons which is a bonus. It truly is a great place to grow up and raise a family and if anyone is ever interested in moving out here I would do it in a heart beat.

A little about my background. While growing up i've owned around 15-20 Jeeps since the day I could drive, even before I was legal age. I've owned XJ's, MJ's, YJ's, TJ's & now a JK. I was basically self taught until I went to a trade school for automotive technology. During that same time period I was selected from a large group of students to participate in a diesel internship for a local public transit company. I've always enjoyed fabricating and welding and currently have a 1 ton YJ being built in the garage. She has a set of King coilovers going on her and 4 link front and rear with an 05 5.3 liter, TH400 and 203/205 Doubler. The front and rear frame is completely custom and its getting some 42" shoes here soon since she's just about a roller.

As far as the industry is concerned I've been professionally involved for around 6 years now and I spent most of my time in differential sales & installation. It took me a lot of time learning & making mistakes to get where I am within such a specialized field. With that being said I definitely consider myself to be near the top when in comes to having those skills since most people think of differentials to be a black art.

I have tried my best to set up the site in a way that will hopefully make it easier to shop. First you will find, "Shop by Category", and this is for the customer that knows what they are looking for in general and they can navigate through by choosing a series of subcategories. Second, we have "Shop by Vehicle", this is for the customer that knows they have a Jeep Wrangler TJ or whatever and they know they have money and its burning a hole in their pocket. They can simply click on their vehicle and look through every single item I have on the website for that particular model. Take note, the only order you'll find this category in is by price, "lowest to highest." Third, we have "Shop by Brand," and this is simply going to show you all the products on our website that is offered by that company. The organization is not quite there in that section but I have included information about each company and the products are organized cheapest to most expensive. I have also started including the history of each vehicle and a little information for the novice under each category, this would basically include "what it is", "what it does", and "why you need to buy it."

I'm aware not every customer is interested in the super hardcore offroad modifications like building "from the ground up" Jeeps like I am and each customer is at a different skill level when it comes to what they can take on themselves. If you want hardcore, I'd love to sell you hardcore. If you want something as simple as a pretty billet fuel door cover, we got you "covered" (no pun intended), if you want a lift kit, wheels, tires, some cool L.E.D. lighting, bumpers, sliders, or a misc clamp for mounting a highlift...we offer it. If you don't see something you really have to have and its not listed on the site please email me directly sales@rockridge4wd.com and i'll try my hardest to get it for you at a reasonable price! Even if you are not an offroad guy and you simply browse the forums for info...no biggy, I just ask that you spread the word that you know a guy that knows his stuff. Simple as that.

I know trust and business must be earned and I'm here to make that happen. Its incredibly important for everyone to know that customer service is a big deal with me and if I screw up, i'll own it and fix the situation. Even if it means loosing a few bucks.... That is how important my customers are to me and that is what is going to set Rockridge 4WD apart from MOST in the industry. With Rockridge 4wd you will also get a 1 on 1 personal interaction that you won't get from the larger shops. With me, your Jeep might as well be my Jeep. When you request a quote, I won't take a week to respond. I will respond in most cases within less than an hour(during business hours or after hours). Not only will I respond but you will receive a proper quote in PDF form with all your Jeep information listed and what you want to purchase. This is to ensure that both parties are on the same page about what parts are wanting to be ordered and for what vehicle we are ordering parts for. One thing I have learned from the past, notes are extremely important and a lot of times communication can be the reason for a mistake. If both parties review the quote and agree its golden, THAN we proceed with the order. Quotes are saved forever and we will be able to go back and find it even if you call us back a year later.

I've spent awhile on this little introduction and so I will conclude this intro with a few simple quotes that one evening I read and they inspired me so much that when I woke up the next day I decide to start Rockridge 4wd. That's the run down and I hope to be hearing from some of you soon.

"The great breakthrough in your life comes when you realize that you can learn anything you need to learn to accomplish any goal that you set for yourself. This means there are no limits on what you can be, have or do." -Unknown

"All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible." -T.E. Lawrence
