Just an example of a past order ready to crate and ship, looked like. This one had ABS though, so had abs rings, not typical.

And a recent JK housing, just to show how it comes without paint. Even the center looks like a new piece.

This axle will save you money if you have a D30 and 35" tires, and thinking about building the D30.... think about it.

How will this axle save me money on a D30 running 35s? I'm just curious about that.

Sweet Axle btw, someone with the money would be very happy with it.

I'm guessing when you factor in the price for everything to build a Dana 30... Gears, locker, install kit, shafts, cover, fluid, RTV/gasket, ujoints, ball joints, UCA bushings, etc. And the money you'd spend to get it all installed (or the time if you'd do it yourself). It definitely all adds up.

I wish I had that kinda money to burn. Dang

Thats pretty much it..

Then take into the equation the extra cost of what the frugal crowd will do (and not a bad thing, but still it adds to this), a insert locker and a set of gears the first time and the carrier grenading, and the tow cost or spare parts you had to find that day/night on the trail to even get it to the tow truck or home, as well as then building your dana 30 back up, only to have your new well built D30 pull teeth of the ring or pinion with your 35's and 4.88's.

This will assure you that even with up to a 37" tire (for 99% of the wheelers and drivers out there at least) you will never have to worry about your front axle assembly, except new ball joints every 10-75K miles, or unit bearings every 20-120K miles.

Like most will tell, but few follow, the best advice in building a Jeep. Build it once and build it Right. It will save you money, time, effort, and down time.
