Default Into-the-Frame Retro-fit Rear Bumper Brackets

Nates4x4 announces a much improved upon XJ Rear Bumper mounting system. As more and more XJ's are showing their age, they are becoming increasingly weak at the factory mounting points. With the added weight of a tire carrier or trailer en-tow, stress cracks can begin to appear in the crossmember. To remedy the problem, try our new into-the-frame XJ Tie-in Brackets, which redistribute stresses to a sturdier area of the frame while reinforcing factory mounting points. These retro-fit brackets are the perfect match for nearly ANY XJ Rear Bumper and require only minor trimming for installation.

Thanks, I think this is a highly needed part in the Cherokee community, for the do-it-yourselfers out there we have a cool video and dimensioned drawings in the fabrication forum.

I just saw it. Thank you for sharing it that's very generous. And I agree about XJs needing them

Did the other thread get deleted? Here's someone that used nutstrips on top of a frame tie in: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/re...0/#post3455229 Still would need to notch out for the exhaust hanger and whatever is on the drivers side.
