2 rear supports just inside hatch and 2 brackets that attach to seat catch.

Now mounts are not in photo however they show placement of rack. It is at proper height and were it would install as mounts go at each corner the rear drop down just in front of hatch opening. I hope this helps with any questions

Much better. Like it, except the holes in the bottom.

How hard would it be to change the dimensions to fit my Subaru? Probably want it with a sold or mesh bottom.

That isn't bad for the size IMO. Probably accounts for shipping costs, materials to package and the time to ship it versus an in person purchase. That is how I do it (in my business) anyways.
