Great string, guys, especially since I am about to acquire my first Hi-Lift. Fortunately my young and rugged nephew, plus his come-along, was with me last month when I got ambitious and ended hung up on a fallen tree across the rough logging track to my cabin. I second the added note that you must have a shovel or spade with you too. A scissors jack is great but I discovered that the one from my former M38A1 was inadequate for the Cherokee Sport.
In younger days I jacked up and pulled brush and cut small trees to make a corduroy road when hung up on a crown. Nowadays I stand around and pretend to supervise.....
