Have you tried reaching out to them?

Once I messaged them again they got me a shipping notification.

I sent an email on Wednesday inquiring about where in line I was for the links, and he replied saying he would check and then never got back to me so I emailed him again on Thursday and haven't heard from him since. I mean they posted on instagram 2 days ago a pile of long arms and I'm supposedly the 6th person to order so I'm not really sure what the deal is, but it is getting very excessive and long in the tooth. I know it's a great quality kit and worth the money, but I mean seriously.

I hear you man. I was expecting 2-3 months, but it has been 5.5 months and I haven't received everything yet.

It's especially tough when you see steering going out all the time and pictures going up on instagram. Combine that with multiple promises on deadlines that have not been met.

I just keep reminding myself of how good it will be when I do eventually get the kit.

On top of all that I've missed 3 wheeling trips because the jeep has been in the garage waiting on these promised dates, now it's getting to the point where I needed it this weekend to move out of my dorm room so now I'll have to borrow a car to get all my stuff out and it's becoming ridiculous. I know it's not their fault I tore my jeep apart before everything was in my hands and ready to go on, but still I keep hearing a couple days or next week or what not.

Sent them another email today, no reply from that, and also no reply from the previous email either.

Hey Sam,

I just replied to your email.

I have been in Nashville out of town for the last 2 days and haven't really been around phone or my laptop to respond to emails.

When will the installation instructions be shipping out? A bunch of parts, bolts and nuts with no installation instructions can be confusing and overwhelming for some. I got the cross member and links installed without issues but the cross member/frame rail brace has not been installed yet. The kit comes with 4 long bolts to go through the frame rails but only two sleeves and two flag nuts, washers, and a couple of nuts. An explanation and installation guide could be real helpful.

Oh, and what to do differently if you have frame stiffeners installed?

The 2 longer bolts with sleeves are for the rear most holes on the unibody tie ins (towards back of the jeep). They go all the way through the unibody.

The 2 front most holes use the flag nuts. These only go through the first portion of unibody. There should be holes in the unibody forward of the unibody tie ins that allow the flag nuts to be placed in.

Did you're links ever get shipped?

I also sent an email through their website inquiring about the rest of my order and got a response first thing Thursday, but he just said for me to email him directly and he'd check on my order. Emailed David direct on Thursday morning and still no response tonight. It would be nice to at least get some answers here after 5 months of patiently waiting!

I have not had my links shipped nor did I get a date on when they would be shipped. He said he had been out of town and away from his computer and phone. Just said they will ship next week (which is now this week) he said probably late in the week because they have something going on. Kind of another vague "deadline". We'll see. If I don't get them before this weekend it will definitely suck because I have a trip the next weekend and don't know if I'd have time next week to finish the jeep. I guess let's hope for the best and good luck to you too!

It seems they are overwhelmed by the demand of their products and not able to really get a handle on accurate shipping times, installation instructions especially for those who have frame stiffeners, and shipping out of the t-shirts promised to the pre-order people.

Luckily for me, the kit has arrived and is installed except for the frame tie in brackets since I have frame stiffeners installed and the window where the flag nut is supposed to go into the frame rail is no longer exposed. Minor detail but should be a common detail as many people have frame stiffeners installed. So needless to say, please provide us with install instructions for both with and without frame stiffeners as there are some considerable differences.

Since the install I have taken the jeep out once and let it do its thing. The suspension is amazing and the free movement of the front axle is perfect. I now need to get new shocks and and adjust the bump stops but I am super happy with the Cavfab Alpha 3 link system.

I have stiffeners as well. Im just going to go buy a large bolt, use some scrap tubing and sleeve the unibody rail just like the one that comes with the kit.

Your other option would be drilling or cutting a hole large enough for a nut on the inside of the rail.

Well when I do my stiffeners I might just cut that hole out where the flag nut is supposed to go...
