Hey guys, how’s it going?

I’m looking to replace the original speakers in my 1998 Cherokee XJ Sport with Morel speakers.
But recently I saw people saying that Morels are too deep to fit properly in the front driver/passenger doors of the XJ. Is that actually true?

Does anyone know the maximum speaker mounting depth for the XJ front doors?

My XJ is currently at the shop so I don’t have access to the car right now, and I’m planning to order the speakers already so they arrive in time for installation as soon as the truck is done.

I’ve been researching the Morel Maximo Ultra 602 MKII and they have around 6.4cm mounting depth (about 2.5 inches, right?).
Do you guys think they’ll fit in the XJ doors while still keeping the original speaker grille and without trimming/cutting anything?

Would a small spacer solve it or is 6.4cm already too much for the stock door setup?

Alright, I have a 98 XJ with 33 inch tires but regeared to 4.56 with metal bumpers/rack, but I'm having an issue where the Jeep just seems super super sluggish on hills. On the freeway, cruising around 60 to 65 is what I can maintain without having any issues or feeling like I'm pushing it too hard which from what I've gathered is normal for the gearing/tires, but the moment I need to go up a steeper hill it struggles a lot, usually it ends up around 40 to 50 in 2nd gear before eventually the temps climb and then they suddenly will shoot up to 250ish just below max and the check gauges light comes on, from what I've seen this is alerting me the coolant is boiling over as when I pull over that's what's happening and it isn't actually at 250 but still at the 220-230 temp it was reading before It spiked on top of that offroad It barely makes the climbs in 4lo and in 4 high It does the same thing where it feels sluggish before finally getting to the point where it's boiling over and I just have to turn back. I'm doubting this is a cooling issue as I have an upgraded 3 row/fan aluminum radiator to cool the engine, but I'm wondering what things I should look into to try to figure out the power loss issue, so far on the list I've got fuel pump/filter thing and possibly getting new/upgrading the injectors but other than that I'm not entirely sure what else I should look into/replace to try to get it to be able to go up hills. Please note I don't expect it to be able to keep up with modern/stock cars, but I'd expect it at least to be able to do things without running too hot and going uphill at a snail's pace.

Hello firnds, I am looking for some wisdom. 1997 jeep cherokee sport. Post core 4x4 4" lift. New Currie CorectLync steering upgrade. Professionally aligned post. running new 33 Nitto tires. Checked ball joints all seems good. No play that I can find anywhere in steering.
For whatever reason I have wandeering going down the road. Constantly feeling like I need to correct steering. Steering seems to be tight at the box. No play. I am at a loss.
