Damn man, I had no idea. I figured you were still doing really good down at WVU. Glad you've got a plan to fix it all, for now.

Good Luck.

Or don't if lemonade makes you poo blood...sell them to buy green tea

Tried starting the Jeep today. Wouldn't even click. Battery wasn't dead. Interior light was bright, and i tried jumping it anyway. Turns out 2 wires on my NSS have been torn apart/cut somehow. Going to try to fix these sometime this week. The top one shouldn't be too horrible, but I may need to get a new plug for the bottom one.

Ordered a rear main seal and oil pan gasket. So hopefully she'll actually be on the road again soon.

I think I'm ready to be an adult, in one aspect of my life anyway. I had a moment a few weeks ago where none of my three Jeeps would start. Luckily it just made me late for a movie, but I had to call out of work earlier in the week because my exhaust failed. Then I almost missed a Rausch trip with Neil that weekend. On that trip, I had another exhaust failure and a flat tire. I've hit that point where having reliable transportation that I don't have to wonder about is more important than always driving a Jeep.

Anyway, tl;dr I'm gonna sell the J10 and the stock YJ so I can get a new/newer car.

I ran the numbers on loan payments, insurance, and fuel cost. Replacing those two with a new hatchback would save me $261/mo while also giving me peace of mind and a comfortable ride.

The YJ leaks trans fluid pretty bad and the TC doesn't lock up until it gets hot. It drives fine around town. Hardtop and full doors. Stock. 4.0L auto

The J10 seems to be misfiring due to timing. I suspect it may need a distributor. It also has some interior wear that I'd like to fix and a dented left front fender. I'd like to fix it so I can get my money back out of it, but I'd sell it as is for the right price. AMC 360 auto

Taking offers

Good idea, Tim. I did that last December and it's great to know that I have a reliable car that will always start and drive perfect. Its also extremely affordable for me: under $40 a week for all the expenses.

What kind of car are you looking at?

actually wait that was a Spark. Either way, Cruze is still way better.

I'd test drive before purchase, of course, but a friend had one. I rode in it a few times, and I liked it. His was modded with a bigger turbo and had a performance lowering kit... But I've always liked hatchbacks

My only hesitation on getting that (or something like it) is it can't even pull a small trailer. If I need to pick up an engine or tires or whatever, I'd have to rent a truck.

A small SUV would take a hit in the mpg department, but I could tow a utility trailer.
