No, I don't lick fish.
HAHA! Transporting a CJ frame on the roof rack of a buick estate wagon... that's good stuff right there.
Grill guard from a 90 ford ranger, these were factory along with a roll bar,i pulled it at the local pick your part and sized it up on a jeep there before i bought it almost fit like it was meant to be lol...It was originally chrome ,also had some rust on the underside of center bars, cleaned that off, primed with self etching primer,a primer sealer then flat rustoleum enamel black.cost me 40$ regular price,11$ for new hardware old stuff was rusted ,and paint about 15$,only issues was bolt access but on the radiator support there are two round holes you can reach in and put the bolts on by hand,a ratchet wrench would do best, but i used a mix of regular open end and 1/4 ratchet worked for passenger side. The bolt design has the bolts that have just a smooth round head and square peg underside that locks and keeps it from spinning so that helped a bit,but ive seen these a few times just never though it would fit but figured id post maybe someone can find one at thier local yard, next ittl get some lights.
Fits pretty good man! Nice junk yard part score.

Built a homemade HCV (heater control valve) for the jeep. Ehall should like this one.

Way easier than adjusting a blend air door.

Woke up early, swapped in my junkyard ac compressor (only $30 the last time U pull and pay had a half off sale)
Removed a shim from the pulley and resurfaced the clutch disk, replaced all o-rings I could easily get to, and had the system filled.
and it's only 10:15 AM
Winning

What did you do to your cherokee today?
Coolant flush in the YJ, along with an oil change and new wiper blades. I've put a few thousand miles on the Jeep since the last motor swap, and brown sludge came out. I'm hoping it's from the rust in the block and not from a head gasket issue.
It's been overheating on my commute to work, and I'm hoping this helps.
New fluid on the left. Old on the right.

That's what I'm betting on, so we'll see if it gets better. I hadn't even thought of the gasket til after it was done because I expected rust to cause issues.
On a side note, I read that as "ten one" which is CB slang for receiving incoming transmissions poorly. I think you meant "ten to one" odds, which would typically be stylized "10:1" because it's a ratio. Not trying to nitpick, but they do mean different things

Besides, it will be a cold day before I take your words as attack. You're as straight to the point as me. That's a good thing.
