Hi Willy – thanks for your information – The heat reading I am quoting is from the Dash -

I sort of knew the the Toque Converter is ok – I suspected a switch/solenoid had an issue. You have to forgive me for my ignorance but I am new to the jeep world and still coming up to speed on models etc....

I was wondering if you might know what the gear box model number on the Auto would be – also if I may push my luck possible part numbers for the solenoid ….

    Model – 1996 (right hand drive) Grand Cherokee – straight 6 – 4sp Auto...

Again Thanks Willy … owe ya a beer … appreciate the information...
    Regards
    Danny

    Hey,
Dan(Ol Blue) suggested that you are the man when looking for answers. I have a 95 Grand Cherokee with electrical problems. The radio, AC, and both info centers went out at the same time. There is a clicking noise coming from under the dash on the right side(only when the door is open). The dome lights come on when the key is off but no when turned on. The clicking sound stops when key is on. There is a "OC" error on the over head info center where the temperture should be. Just before going completly out, the on dash info center flashed a few times, now nothing. Any help you may be able to give me would be greatly appreciated. my thoughts are (and I`m hoping) is a relay somewhere.

    Thanks,
    Marty
