Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
This Jeep is now my DD. The body had ~82,000 original miles when I purchased it from its third owner in Jan. 2013.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Engine was not the original. Engine was swapped by the previous owner using a YJ engine whose mileage is unknown. Otherwise, she was stock as a rock.
As of Oct. 2013, this Jeep now has a 4.0L I6 from a '90 XJ, an AX15 5-speed from a '96 XJ and the NP242 from a '92 XJ. Conversion started in June and lasted four months.
Open style cooling and electric fan override switch.
Dual-diaphragm brake booster from a '00 WJ, removed the load sensing rear prop. valve in the rear and added the XJ prop. valve in place of the MJ distribution block.
Suspension Modifications:
Blue Monroe shocks. Will eventually upgrade shocks to these: http://comancheclub.com/topic/38390-new-shocks-monroe-sensa-track-load-levelers/?p=386345
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Factory 15" x 6" steel rims and 225/70R/15 Nexen Roadian tires.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Bedlined floor pans and entire cab area black. Rattle can paint job Rustoleum "Heritage Red".
Instrument cluster with tach and true meter gauges.
Dash swap from an '88 XJ. Currently half gray, half tan interior. Will be swapping the rest to gray and swapping in bucket seats with center console.
