Back up everything you want to save. Follow the directions to the letter.

Have not used it or talked to anyone who has messed with it yet. Let me know how it is. I have been curious about it. I would HOPE its better than Vista...thats what I have now on my laptop and I HATE it.

I used the beta version, it was pretty good even for a beta . Pretty quick as far a loading etc ,you should be pretty happy. But remeber it is built around vista and that was not to bad (i think) but all my hard ware was built for vista.Good luck

For those of you that want to run MSN Explorer, it won't work with W7. If you can get your hands on a v9.5 you might be able to get it to work by making a change to the Registry. I found the following info but haven't found a copy of v9.5 yet.

Got it installed and running. Had some problems with a few drivers but over all I like it. Seems to be pretty decent. Less of a memory hog than vista for sure.

Vista has made my laptop crash once, but was easily fixed with a quick system restore. Seemed to be caused by one of its security or other updates.

No other problems. I'm getting a new desktop computer sometime soon. Right after I pay the Jeep off.

I used Windows 7 in Beta and used Vista, didn't like either. I stuck with XP Pro and started dual booting with Linux.
