went wheeling at the new place a couple weeks ago

alright, that place i told you all about that i was going to go wheeling at for the first time where they were just opening the trails in southern ohio, it was awesome....BUT....

it was so hilly that my mostly bone stock XJ with 2 inches of lift, limited slip, and bfg ATs got stuck 100 feet up the first dang hill....

first off, BFG ATs are JUNK!!..lol..if you are any where that there is mud, you are just as well off going to jeff gordons house and stealing 4 of his racing slick tires, and putting them on the jeep

so i had to be pulled up the first hill...were, then, one of my friends with a much better built XJ told me to ride with him and to park my XJ..lol...bc the hill i got stuck on was just baby play compared to the rest of them..lol

but, just so you know, i couldnt just accept the fact that my XJ couldnt make it up the first hill so i tried and i tried until i started seeing smoke rolling out from under my hood and my CONSOLE!!! thats when i decided.....enough is enough...i was the only one outa the group that was driving my rig home...all 3 hrs of it

so we drive it back down to the camp where i park it and smoke is still just pouring out from everywhere...and with a smell that i had never smelled before...

so my friends and i got to looking, i went around back and they were lifted up my passenger seat when i heard "FIRE FIRE...Khori get some WATER...HURRY!!"

what had happened was, the day before i had just gotten the exhaust rehung....well they rehung it to close to the floor board with no heat sheild on the cat...the cat had burnt a hole thru the floor behind my passenger seat, melted my floor mat, and now there is a black hole the size of texas behind my passenger seat

so i rode with my friend in his XJ and we came back down in the middle of the day to get a bite to eat, and now, what do i find, but a flat tire due to a broken valve....

and THEN, i couldnt find my stupid little key to get the spare off the rack, so i had to borrow 2 of my friends spares for his jeep....i borrowed 2 bc they were one inch bigger then mine...so we couldnt put one size bigger on one end of the axle.....

we did make it home safe...however, i learned 2 things that weekend....

1. never take a girl wheeing with you unless you know what kinda terrain you are dealing with so you dont look like an idiot

2. i must have bigger lift, and due away with those horrible horrible tires and get some real tires..

lol....well ill have to take the pics of the floor later in the daylight....but when i got in my friends XJ, i forgot the camera so i didnt get any pics that day..lol

thanx...they did...as of right now im not worried about the hole in the floor.. ...got the tire fixed...its good again..lol

A/Ts do sucks in the mud!!! but on the rocks they are not to bad. I mean they are no creepy crawlers but hell worked for me.
