I need to vent a lil

Ok, Im sick of this job of mine. I work full time hours at the nicest hotel with in 50miles and I only get paid 6.75 and hour. I cant take it anymore. The owners of this place really p*** me off. Our paychecks are so posed to be here every other wed at 2pm. Well I come to work a lil early today thinking that I can get my paycheck and go put gas in the jeep before I start my 8 hour shift of hell. Well I get here and my manager tells me that the owners are bringing them tmrw. That fat lil f***er does nothing but collect money. I averaged his bills on this hotel. I put everything together. And on average he makes 80K a month in profit. Tell me that wouldn't mess up your pantys. Too add on that im the one that makes him his money! for nothing back. I pray that this other job hires me. my pay will double. To add on that im trying to buy a lil car for gas saving. I know what I want but I cant find one within 500mi radius. That gets under my skin and I dont know why. Im sick of living in this town period. Its full of a bunch of back stabbing people and full of a bunch of people who act like lil kids and run their lil mouth then take off so you cant do anything to them. This is the reason I was a push bar(brush guard) on the jeep. Sometimes I feel life would be easier if I just would run from it all. Never worry about anything just leave constantly so nothing gets started or anything. I mostly cant take this life working for no pay. Me and my wife will never get anywhere like this. Sorry guys I just really need to vent.

It wasn't untill quite recently that I learned not to let them get to me. It's really just a matter of not caring. Let them do their childish bull****, then when work's over go home, have a beer, and forget about work. Be the bigger man. I adopted this policy about a year ago and now sleep much better at night.
As far as pay goes, well like you already said, get a better job. Easier said then done right now, but it's just about your only option.

That is a point well taken. That I have been working on. Just a lil hard to grab at first. But im getting there. I just basically vented there. As for the having a beer I cant quiet yet. im only 19. But I thank you for the pointers. I really didnt think anyone would read this cuz I was just blowing steam.

i'm only 15 and i learned early back not to let people get to you. just take it or go along with them and not care. i usually just turn their insult into a joke. haha but anyways...

as for pay.. man I THINK. i think i make at least 7 at my job which is min wage here in ohio.
not to add insult to injury or anything..

No its all good. No insult this is what I get for working to them towel-heads that are all about their money. And Min wage here is 6.55. But that is why im trying to get this new job. lol.

Find yourself a trade, and if you work hard at what you do, you'll have much less chance of finding yourself out of work. I know it can be tough to go for training, but would probably be worth it in the long run...

P.S. In Canada, you'd be able to buy yourself a beer after work at 19...
...Just sayin'...

man sounds kinda like my old job, which i wish i still had right now. man just do pay any attention to other people. what i really hate is when you have a job and someone promises you a better job and you take it then it turns out all different, in case you were wondering this just happened to me now i'm out of work, and with a GF, twin girls at homeand paying child support on my two boys it really sucks. but anyways good luck on your job search hang in there everything will work out.

I Love what I do now. But the pay is no good at all. If I were to travel 60mi to work every day I could get a job doing the same thing and get paid really good. but gas will kill me. But yeah I guess one summer I will go up to Canada just to see what it feels like to buy a beer legally. lol. I think it would be cool. just can bring it back across the boarder. =[

Which hotel? I use to work at a hotel right after college. I only got $7.20 /hr but a certain percentage of the profit each banquet brings. I was making about $1050 a week on the busiest weeks. I was a banquet houseman for Ramada. Which part of the hotel do you work?

I feel you man. I went through something similar recently.

I work front desk. And Im the only one to run this hotel on th weekends. If I were to leave this guy would be so screwed. Cuz nobody could get trained fast enough for running this place on the weekends. we are always at 90% or more. I know I dont get paid enough. He has another hotel in Tulsa and he pays front desk 8.50 and hour there. He has 3 hotels. Im just hoping on this other job to work out. Im tired of making him all this money for nothing. And im tired of complaining about it. So not I dont complain up here. And I give him the kind of work that 6.75 pays for. And I wish my name was on this hotel. lol. its a banking place.

Crazy as it sounds move to canada... I know i know some people are gonna flame me but i make $12 an hour working as an apprentice, taxes are really high and i can legally drink, Free health care too. I'm 19 too, if i felt like driving 20 min i could have drank legally at 18 lol.
