Does anybody know how to make or a program or template, to create a product catalog for print, at home DIY style?

well the options i have explored is diy through photoshop, the only other way i know is a print place

Photoshop was what I was thinkin.......yeah maybe go to a office store that does copies and stuff like that

There are two options. One is using Adobe In Design. That is the program that desktop publishers and publishing houses use to create mags and catalogues. You can do a simpler type using Excel. The advantage here is you can easily raise all your prices by linking a multiplier to each price cell. I have both programs. I created a good flat rate manual using Excel that was not far from a catalogue.

Are you looking to do one or two yourself or are you wanting to make them all the time for your business? Just a few and you could use Microsoft Word or another full featured word processor. Going to do a lot and try to make money with them, you'll want to go with Microsoft Publisher or the Adobe products... Beware these packages start to add up! I just bought the Adobe creative Suite, Design Premium and it retails for $1800... Personally, I love using Publisher but I have not cracked open the wrapper on the Adobe package yet...

There is also quite a learning curve to get the publication to look professional. I know people that bill out $85 to $200 per hour for this kind of work and I know people that do it on the side for Beer money and fun...

i spent the first two years after high school at nait programing, i know a few people, lol i was just looking to do it at home, for free, minus cost of ink and paper
