Default Abalone Diving!!!

I love it. And the only thing better is hitting some trails after the kill.

My day's limit.
Two 9"s and an 8.75".

Hanging with one of my lil buddies.

The sweet taste of victory.

Abalone are actually part of the "mulusk" genous. they have a single helmet shaped shell, with a big foot that can cling to most anything with great strength. People usually consider them Giant sea snails, but they're more meaty then they are slimy.
the season ends with this month, but opens back up for a couple months on april first. check it out. It's hard work, fun as all heck, and they taste amazing.

I thought they were a mollusk but wasnt sure. Never ate one but heard they are pretty good. I just remember hearing them being talked about.
