All of a sudden my trailer has no lights, no power. I put a test light to the factory tow hitch of my Jeep and it doesn't have power. I have checked all the fuses.... they look good. Have done a visual check of what wiring I could see.... it looks good. I'm out of options........

What has caused the loss of power to my tow hitch?

Are they a hidden fuse somewhere that I missed that might be blown?

What are options to get around it.... i.e. running another ground wire?

What plug do you have? 7 pin? 6 pin? flat plug?

Likely, you have a plug in harness, follow the harness from the plug back to your GC wiring harness, check the plug.
Check the ground, trailer lighting is grounded through the plug, do not rely on ground through the ball.

Move to a 6 or 7 pin.........flat plugs are junk, pure junk.
You can get a pin mount that also has the flat plug so you can tow other trailers.

The harness is likely inside behind an interior panel in the way-back.
