Default Aftermarket Headlight/Turn signal problem

Hi, I recently converted my headlights to some 7" round aftermarket ones, they have a "Halo" ring in them that has a white running light and also flashes orange when the turn signals are activated. I cut the front facing bulb plug off and spliced the halo/turn signal wires into the harness and Ive double checked that the wiring is correct. But now when i turn my headlights on, my turn signals stay on constantly, no flashing. with the headlights off, my other turn signals work, but not the halos. Can anyone think of anything that could cause this or anything I mightve missed? Thanks!

After getting the focus on your camera to work, I'd check for continuity on the lamp's pigtail. It sounds like the lamp might be setup in a way that what you think are independent lights are actually wired together. Can you provide a part number or did the lights manufacturer provide a wiring diagram?

appreciate the input, I fixed it by wiring the original turn signal bulbs back in and modifying the housing to fit with the new headlight. I then just ran jumper wires from the original turn signals to the Halo ring. I believe you were right in saying that they all ran from the same circuit. I also believe that the halos didn't

draw enough amperage or just didn't work with the flasher. They are working perfectly now.
