Default trying to find the right radiator 89 mj 4L

Hi I am new go easy. I own a 89 MJ and am in the process ofrebuilding the engine . I need to replace the old radiator it leaks. so I was looking to getting rid of the closed coolant system and getting the 91 and up radiator but I want to go one step above stock because my MJ will be getting a plow and I wanted the extra cooling of a 3 row I think so I found a $200 radiation on amazon from American champion. I called the local distributer to ask if they thought it was a good deal and ask my stupid questions they told me don’t do it they leak so I come to you guys .I want amostly bolt in aftermarket 91 and up radiator for a MJ 4 liter .

personally i think you will be ok with the 91+ oe replacement. instead of aftermarket radiator i would recommend doing a fan and a trans cooler. personally i tried an aftermarket radiator ( cant remember which one it was) once and had a fitment issue they tend to be thicker and with motor vibes the fan clutch rubs on it sometims just my .02

just go with a oem 91 and up open system, if u get one from a junkyard make sure u flush it really well and u should be fine. no problems with mine..but I don't have a plow to push either .....yet, lol I been really wanting one though.
