My 88 MJ.
Has 4.0 HO, ax15, 231, 4.5 inch fabtec coils and control arms, with 2 inch pucks, RE drop brackets, lock rite up front, bilstein 5150s, bead locks, was on 33s in pics but now sits on 35 inch km2s, bomz racing bucket seats, cherokee center console, cherokee sound bar, full stereo system. Custom front bumper, custom sliders, trailgear toyota back bumper fitted to the truck, and has currie 1 inch lift motor mounts. Built it all the from stock, saved it from being parted out and scrapped.

I'll submit what I have... MJ one White 88' 4.0L 5spd 2WD SWB ~260K but is running 93' motor swapped by a PO mileage un-known but runs like stink on well you know ( mom wanted...I've wrenched it back from the edge)( she just can't drive...currently FOR SALE )
MJ two Grey 89' 4.0L Auto 2WD SWB 76K ( mine was about to be scrapped...saved...needs ALOT but we are on the way )

I too just discovered the Comanche section here. I've been away from CF for some time. Kinda been devoting my time to my YJ, but I'm back now, as I just got another Cherokee which I'll show on another thread....but here's my Comanche. I just bought a parts truck in Tahoe City. (last pic)
Mine's got 278k, the donor which was creamed by a snowplow only has 70k. Drivetrain swap!!

Whats up guys. Ive had my comanche for a lil over four years. Its a short box. Has the 4.0 an five spd manny. 4x4 I bought it and it was a weird primer grey. Possibly rattle canned. sides of the door, looks factory. No stickers. Just the badges that say jeep,comanche and 4x4. And 4.0
Pulled the liner an carpet. Its grey.
How can I find out which it is. Pio or eliminator. Or what have you
Shes my favorite thing that isnt alive. By far.
So I'm gonna tear her apart. Fix her up proper. Shes on baja claw32s
Id post pics but I cant figure it out. Ill get on a real comp an try. Shes a beaut. Body is sound. Driver floor pan has the Infamous manche exhaust rust hole. But all in all. Shes a gem.

My first comanche-1987
i picked up my first mj. 1987 jeep comanche Long bed 4x4 4.0 with i believe the metric ton edition because it has the dana 44 rear with a dana 30 high pinion front.
