MJ bed delete
Well i suck at keeping a build thread so im just gonna do my fab stuff on this part for others...
this is my MJ and what it looked like before...
and this is what im doing and how far i am at this point... i cut off the frame just behind the front part of the X... this will give me about the same as stock wheel base when i run air shocks... even though it looks short... its also a flat part of the frame so made it easy to splice in my 2x4 1/4in box tube... i cut out the inner part of the unibody 2in back and then slid in the box tube and welded everything up... then i plated the sides with 3/16 and extended them past the end of the bed so i could fold them over and weld to the rear bumper... now its all welded up and cleaned up! where these plates are are going to be where my shock hoops attach as well... i have a 1.75 hole saw bit and frame through washers from ruff stuff to put on the inboard side... im just not going to do it till i bend my tube... i can bend up to 180* but im not sure how wide im gonna make it... probly as wide as possible without moving the center of the bend forward to far..

I need to change the title cause it's kind of more than a bed delete lol... maybe I should just make this this a build page... A MJ build page here may draw more folks then one lost in the XJ section...
