I can but man does that thing scare me, I would het a wire crossed or something and hate myself lol.
Is it that benefitial? I will do it if it's that good of a modification

Yeah I can, I had to extend my o2 sensor wires for the pacsetter header o2 sensor relocation and it still works

If you look at post 27, the young man who did that C101 elimination had never soldered or shrink tubed in his life.....
