Never crossed my mind because I don't want to be that tall....honestly no point to the wheeling we do here...well you know how deep these Florida mud holes can be...so I don't test anything unless I see someone else go first....lol

So I've been working hard to get my ax15 mostly done but got into Snag with the master and slave cylinder....

Ax15 and np231 ready to go in....

I didn't have a transmission jack...so I had to get creative to get the transmission up with just the floor jack....
I used a ratchet strap and a 2x4 on top of the transmission tunnel...few inches at a time and I finally got it in...

Ran into a problem trying to get the crossmember in place...

But a little bit of research on naxja a guy made a bracket that ties the crossmember into stock ax5 location and ties the transmission mount together....and also had to clearance the tunnel a bit for the wrangler clocking

Thanks man....
Research is your best friend...
But there's only so much info on the ax5 to ax15 swaps...
They are plenty for wranglers and only about 1 or 2 for Xj and mj

Unfortunately no,
The driveshaft barely fit when swapping the rear axle...
I can still use my factory one if I get it shortened at a driveshaft shop...

So.....1 step forward 3 steps backwards....

New driveshaft made and installed.....
But leaking oil somewhere and I think it's from where the transfer case and transmission meet....
