What an idiot driver and salesman. I could have driven out of that with my FWD Cherokee and have driven through deeper snow.
I guess he doesn't know how to operate the vehicle.

Yea I've never driven in snow in my life and I'd like to think I could have gotten out of that.
Can't you just turn the traction control **** to "snow" and drive that right out?

At least the new Chero mimics the sound of my 4.0. Now is that piston, rod, rockers, mains, all of the above? Very flattering? Better keep to the middle line of my road. Gotta be something missing in the driveline selection by the operator.

The noise is most likely the "multi-air" system on the 4-cyl which uses solenoids on the valves to regulate incoming air rather than a traditional throttle-body, I've heard it is a bit noisy, especially at idle, though they did a good enough job with the sound deadening that you only hear it outside of the vehicle.
