Turn Signals
Does it bother anyone else that when you use your turn signal during the day the LED strip turns off on that side? It doesn't do it when all the lights are on, so I know its not a power thing. I feel like it looks like my light is out whenever I'm sitting at a light.

Your right, I don't work for the DOT and can't give you a Federal reg #, it has to do with federal regulations say that no lights that are brighter than the turn signals can be on at the same time during daylight hours. Here is a brief answer on Ask.Cars.com: http://ask.cars.com/2012/10/why-do-a...nal-is-on.html

Thanks for the input (I still hate it, but at least I know why they do what they do now)

i was about to post what you said.. very common in europe saw it on audi's more so than most others.. I guess this is Fiats doing...
My complaint about lights is in the inside of the thing.. cant shut the console lights completely off.. and that sucks.. I take night photos and often like to cruise along the lake bottoms with no lights on looking for he RIGHT SETTING to photograph... cant do that when blinded by the lights on the inside... soon as you go from night mode BLAAAMO! blinded.. heck ya cant even see out the window its so bright... im half way tempted to rig up my own all off switch, but am kinda scared too .. kinda waiting for someone elses trial and error.. lol
