tranny cooler leak
2014 Cherokee, limited, 3.2, 9 speed. I'm new to the forum, and think I posted something wrong the other day, sorry.....While changing the oil the other day, I found that the tranny cooler has been leaking where the lines connect to the cooler, it has been seeping and spraying for some time looking at it. How in the world is the average guy suppose to check the tranny fluid? they say it's sealed but there is a special tool you can buy to check the level? anyone have any insight they can pass along? Did two different mild dirt jeep trails while in CO. Have half a dozen road trips to Chicago, and one to Denver from MN.. Also read the thread about getting it into 9th gear, mine hit 9th doing 84 mph across I-80 in NE last week, hit the econ page, but didn't see a whole lot of diff manually shifting between 8th & 9th. Thanks for the help...not overly impressed with this 9 speed after Jeep flashed & re-programed it. seemed better before they touched it...
