The Dura Tracs improve the look a little, needs another inch of lift though.......or two.

It's why the Cherokee uses the 1234yf refrigerant. The XJ and KL 6 cylinders get roughly the same MPG real-world. One thing that I keep hearing is that the transmission software was stabilized for sale, but isn't complete. The MPG should improve once the final revision of the tranny software comes out.

I've gone from a KL hater to a Trailhawk acceptor. Would be a cool rig with 3" lift. Stock size tires or different?

It's good seeing that some owners are testing their vehicles. It's probably going to be a while before we see anything crazy offroad except from Jeep unless it's from someone who could careless about the warranty.

What's really hilarious is that the KK gets the same fuel economy, too. I think anything branded with "Cherokee" is damned to get that sort of mileage regardless lol

Now I'm kind of curious. The XJ's wheel wells accomodate larger tires + lift very well as the angle is pretty wide. The KL, like some other vehicles, has pretty vertical walls front boxing in the tires. How long until we see cut fenders?

I think I would have put off road in quotation marks.

Baby steps... these are brand new after all. So far what's been posted I think has outdone the TV commercials. One of those was an actual mud puddle with ruts instead of a groomed dirt road lol

Thread said that's only a half inch larger than stock, but that's as big as you can go without rubbing.

LMAO and the KJ as well. Defeats the "It looks the way it does for fuel economy blah blah blah."

Depends, issue is most of the owners are extremely concerned with the warranty. Especially being first year run with the transmission replacements and all, might be a while. It'll take someone with some deep pockets probably.

The Trailhawks are well over 30k out the door, might be a while before someone has the ***** to trim the fenders.

Heck, I paid $2400 for my XJ and was hesitant to cut the hood for my vent's.

Ha, if I won the lottery I'd keep my XJ as an off roader and get a Grand Cherokee Limited for daily driver.
