Default Looking to upgrade my Cherokee Latitude Fog and Head lights

Just got a Jeep Cherokee Latitude with a few options, none of which modify the headlights I am pretty sure.

I am looking to upgrade the headlights and foglights to HIDs. After reading around it looks like I should get the 9006 for the headlights and the 5202 for the foglights. Below are the links to the ones I would purchase:

Head lights: 9006 / HB4 Volt HID Digital+ HID Kits

Fog lights: 5202 Volt HID Digital + Kits | Volt HID Kits | XenonDepot | KBcarstuff.com

Just looking for some confirmation that these will work. Also, do I need to get anything else to ensure no error codes? Thanks

Do you have factory projectors or no? If not, do not put HIDs in your standard housings. As for if you do have projectors I would check to make sure the HID projectors are the same as the Halogen Projectors. They probably are not. As for where to get a quality HID system, theretrofitsource.com is the best.

Well the 2014 Cherokee has "Halogen Projector Headlights" in the standard model. And from what I can tell when comparing the Limited edition to my Latitude the headlights look the same as far as housing go (the Limited has HID projector headlights). I found some more information from www.jeepgarage.com and ordered a set of HIDs for the low beams and color matching LEDs for the fog lights.

I'm gonna say judging from almost every other car on the road, with some exceptions, the halogen projectors are not the same as the HID. They may look the same, its more the internal parts of the project that differ. HIDs will work in your halogens but it wont be as good as the HID ones. if you really wanna do it proper and amazing, retrofit in a set of FX-R projectors in there and you'll be stunned by the light output.

Actually they are exactly the same on the jeep. I put in the HIDs in and there is a perfect cut off line.

Just cause it has a perfect cutoff doesn't mean much to that they are the same I hate to say. There are a few cars that can achieve a decent cutoff with halogens and HIDs swapped.

Get pics for me, Im curious. if you could take a picture showing the cutoff at about 10ft and then 20ft and another at like 30ft that'd be amazing.
