Perhaps we could get Ivan Stewart to do a test drive like the one Jeff Gordon did?

The KL is not able to be lifted without $1000's of modifications to the chassis and frame before you can even begin to put a lift on it. It is however able to fit 30s.

Went snow wheeling with My XJ on 35's with 4.5" and my buddies Hummer on 35's with a mild lift on it. My firend and his wife surprised us by bringing their Bone Stock KL Trailhawk Lease along for the ride. He did everythign we did except for one or two trails we knew were narrow and he didn't want to scratch the paint on the lease. He normally wheels a TJ Rubicon, so driver skill may have played a big part, but everyone we met (including ourselves) was quite impressed by the vehicle in stock trim.
I don't have any pics (joint *sigh* from everyone) however I am posting all the vids from the dash cam on You Tube. Do a search on YouTube for "CervejaJJM" and look for videos entitled "Snow Wheeling at the Mounds" dated March third - Enjoy. I unfortuntaely kept forgetting to turn off the camera, so it pays to click a few minutes forward through the boring stuff when we were pulling cable or just standing around talking. I will try and pull some screen shots off the video and post them later tonight.
P.S. I apologize for the blurry vision on some of the pics. I forget to clean the lense on the camera and then windshield so the camera was misfocusing during some of the trip.

Michigan Snow Wheeling.
So it looks like my Contour POV stayed focused on the Windshield pretty much all day. I may need to find a better way to mount it to not have this problem in the future. Either Way I cropped a series of pics and put them together for your blurry pleasure. Enjoy!
So I know a lot of people have very strong opinions about this vehicle and aren't ecstatic that they have brought back the Cherokee for the KL. However after spending a day on the trails and putting it through it's paces, I have to admit I was pretty impressed. Even the group of JK's that we caught up with were pretty impressed with it's overall capabilities. For a bone stock, factory optioned, street tires, unmolested hot off the dealership floor vehicle, we were all quite happy with it's performance.
So now that you have seen some of it's capabilities, let's see what they can really do!!
