True mileage?
Can anyone share their miles or km per tank and if they have regular or optional 3.55/trailer gears?
My 2016 is on order with trailer tow and I was just wondering how it might actually compare to my 5M 2.4 Patriot.

I'm assuming you got the V6 with your tow package but you didn't mention if you have 4x4. I have V6 trailhawk 2016 and can get 26mpg and a couple times showed 28mpg on highway. I only get about 21-23 when over 70mph and my sweet spot is 65mph for max mpg. All around average is about 19-22 mpg city.

Sounds similar to the reviews (which usually had the V6 TH). I read a Canadian site review that said their test 2016 Cherokee (unlike the C&D review of 2014-15 V6) saw 9th gear. Do you see 9th showing up at all?

2016 North here. Previous Patriot owner. Have hauled with the tow package (small Moto hangin off the back and did not see much variation in mileage Always between 8 + and 9+ ltrs per 100kms. And better than my Patriot. Had a 4 cyl loaner for a little garage work and the 6 gets better mileage. Only once or twice on the downhill of a long Interstate down in Utah did I ever have it run in 9th. That was at, like 85 mph and was only achieved my me trying for it. Also had a lot of drag with no smooth airflow because of the bike on the back. I run at maybe 70 mph most of the time. (Using Mph ref so our US of A brudders can understand us, lol). Also the damn Pooter won't let you cruise in 9th even in manual mode unless your way up there.

I read that manual override scenario in one review...to bad. One of the forums that popped up in a KL tuning search (for kicks) mentioned they were still looking into tuning options. Too bad recouping the cost of tuners might never happen in fuel cost/savings but it would be nice to force 9th with the 3.55s, ignoring the tuner's ability to play with engine output (and the higher octane cost$).
Yeah and calculating the distance per tank also needs the 3.8l/gal as our brochure shows imperial tank size. I was reading a transmission issue example where the driver was "doing 130... on the 401" and I wondered if that raised an eyebrow or two for the readers..

Couple years back I was cruising all day across southern Texas where the speed limit was something like 95mph. It might come in handy there. Or the Autoban.
