Dual Zone Climate Phantom
We recently bought a new Trailhawk that doesn't have the controls for dual zone AC just single zone control. However while playing with the touch screen this after noon the climate controls showed up on both sides of the screen. I was able to slide the temp control up and down via the touch screen and it appeared to change the temp on the passenger side. Shut the car off and couldn't get it to reappear. Is it possible to put the dual zone controls on the center instrument cluster to have dual zone control. Anyone else seen this on their dash screen?

maybe I'm missing something here. My Trailhawk has temperature buttons on th dash under the center screen for each side of the vehicle. I can change one independently of the other. I can also do it on the screen software.

Climate control
Correct, but on the vehicle without dual zone, there is a cool down facing blue arrow on left side of the fan control and a red up arrow on the right side of the fan control. and heat on right side. The video screen only has a control on the left side of the screen. Our jeep had both controls on left and right side of screen show up and appear to work . (Only been able to get it to show up one time, but haven't spent time trying to get it to show up again. ) I was curious if the dual zone controllers were installed would it change it to dual zone.

Congrats on the vehicle. You should contact your local dealership and get a build sheet of your specific vin. From there, you'll get the answer you need and any fixes that May be needed

in order for the dual climate to work the vehicle must have the sun sensor on the dash. also there are temp sensors inside the ac/heater houseing that controls the temp. that way it knows to be 70 degrees on passanger and different on the driver. now idk if this can be added. my cherokee has done the same thing on my touch screen and i know for sure i dont have dual conrtol. soon i am going to purchase the sun sensor and find out if its possible... no eta when but when i do it ill let you know.
