Just to clarify, OG. You are saying you can get in and start the ignition with the belt unbuckled and you get no five loud dings?

OK. nother question. Does anyone have a diagram of or pic concerning any electrical layout for the seatbelt in particular? Or the critter making the ding? My dealer seems to think the bell is gone and the ding comes thru the speakers.
But with the seatbelt I am thinking that if buckling up makes the cancellation connection and the tongue part has no wiring, then a thin metal strip plunged into the receiver may do the trick.
