Default Consumer Reports take on the KL
Taken from USAToday list of cars to avoid. The full list has more scathing quotes than this.
Jeep Cherokee with 2.4-liter engine (half-baked ... under-powered and not very fuel-efficient, and the nine-speed automatic transmission is unrefined and unresponsive)

I think they invested more time and money into the top models so I don't foresee any problems but if there is that why they have warranties!

CR is full of ****.

The opinions expressed of the Dodge Dart and 2014 Jeep Cherokee are complete rubbish. I owned a Dart, it was and excellent ride. I traded it for a 2014 Cherokee which shares Dart's heritage. It is also an oustanding vehicle. Capable, comfortable, quiet and the 2.4 has LOTS of power. Any tranny issues can be resolved with the latest software updates.

CR is a load of crap. Bunch of libtards who would prefer a Subaru anyway.
