AC Trouble- Important and Urgent
Hi
I am new in this forum. I am actually facing a problem with my 2016 Cherokee. The people who sit at the back of the vehicle don't get cold air coming out of the car's AC outlet. There are two rear outlets at the back and i tried to feel that by myself... the air coming out from those outlets are not cold enough (even after keeping re-circulation on) . If I put the AC at maximum and re-circulation on and the car speeds up on the highway, then the people at the back get on some cool air.
Any idea what is happening? I bought this brand new vehicle 4 months ago
thanks

I had the opposite problem: folks in the passenger seat not getting cold air. At first, it was diagnosed as a software problem. A reset at the dealer fixed it for a while, but it returned.
A second visit identified the actual culprit was a tiny cut in the duct that was allowing the passenger side cold air to escape before it reached the cabin. They replaced it and it's been great since.
No reason to attempt fixing this yourself: it's either software (which I doubt) or physical, which only they should handle or you'll kill your warranty.

Sure: climate zones, temp settings, balance, etc., are all managed by inputs and outputs and a processor. Software controls the air conditioner and furnace in your home, too, if you've put in a new system in the last 20 years or more.
