2017 vs 2016 Limited
What are the differences between the 2017 vs 2016 Cherokee Limited? Assuming 4x4, v6, ADI (I'm keeping my 06' 1500 GMC for camping so don't think I need ADII) and the rest of the options so basically fully loaded. I've heard Apples CarPlay will be available in the 2017.

The 2016 models just came out... the biggest changes are these five changes:
-The base 2016 Sport trim level now has the option of the upgraded 3.2L PentaStar VVT V6 engine (previously, it only had the option of a 2.4L MultiAir Inline Four-Cylinder (I4) engine, but you still can't get Active-Drive II on the base Sport trim level).
-The 3.2L PentaStar VVT V6 engine now gets standard Electric Stop-Start (ESS) Technology (which was NOT available for 2015).
-The NEW 75th Anniversary Edition, based on the midrange Altitude trim level, includes a special Green exterior color option and Bronze exterior and interior accents (plus special wheels and seats) to commemorate Jeep's 75th Birthday.
-The NEW Overland trim level adds more luxury features to the previously-top-of-the-line Limited trim level.
-The 8.4A and 8.4AN U Connect ACCESS infotainment systems get more features (Swipe-and-pinch smartphone-like functionality, re-configurable drag-'n'-drop menu icons and a re-configurable "toolbar", Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality, a Do Not Disturb function for the Bluetooth system, SiriusXM TuneStart (allows you to start at the beginning of the particular song you're listening to when you first tune into a SiriusXM channel). The update will also be available for all 2014+ Cherokee KL's equipped with these systems.
