Why are the newer wranglers 3 feet too long? Thing looks so stupid!

hey new wranglers are true jeeps! JK lol get it, I personally think the Chinese jeep looks stupid but I really like that under that big dumb plastic fascia is a 4.0 prolly with an aw4 and a np231 and a trusty dirty 30 and a chyro 8.25 or a junk 35. I would buy one from China if I could and just replace the front clip with an old xj 8 slot grill. Could you imagine? A brand new xj with 15 original miles.
