Default 2014 Cherokee Transmission Problem

I have a 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk that been at the dealer for 2 weeks now with the constant problem of stalling, service transmission light on then instructing me to shut and restart and select a gear. After restart the transmission would then start to make a loud banging noise and the Drive indicator light would blink and instruct me to shut vehicle off at this point all indicator light would come on. It has been at the dealer for 2 weeks now and I can not get a straight answer out of the service manager Carla as well as the representative from Jeep who keep telling me their transmission tech has to look at it and there are numerous vehicles there with the same problem and they will get to it. This is the third (3) Jeep vehicle I have purchased in the past 5 years. As a loyal Jeep customer this is not the service I would expect. I will never purchase another Jeep product and will instruct family and friends to do the same

Maybe JeepCares can get involved. Keep us posted on the results.

What TSBs have you had done on it prior to this?

FYI, JeepCares is legit.

Actually quite impressive that FCA has stepped up and positioned these folks to help.

JeepCares is a member on here from Chrysler.

This trans sucks. I dont understand how there is no recalls on it yet. There is 5x more NHTSA complaints than any other model in its class.

It's not only the transmission it's the way I've been treated at the dealer and customer assistance. You can never speak to the case manager it's always I'll call you back in 1 business day. Their all the same I understand I know how you feel it's all a bunch of crap. Like I said I've bought 3 jeeps since 2011 spent over 120000.00 dollars. I really don't think there will be a 4th

The 948TE trannys delayed the on-sale date of the 14+ Cherokee KL's, and they're still not perfect... you could get a PCM reflash done at your dealer to remedy it, but not sure whether it'd be a permanent fix (probably not).

Can you DM me your concern, your VIN, phone number, servicing dealer and service advisor so that I can look into this. You can also provide your case number. Thanks - Kevin T, Social Connect Team

I don't have the vin 9173353991 island Chrysler dodge jeep ram service persons name Carla case #29567472. My concerns are that I had the car flatbeded to the dealer on 6/24/16 on 6/28/16 Carla to me the car was fixed to come get it. I went on the 6/29/16 and drove the car about 20 feet when it started doing the same thing. Then she drove it came back about 10 minutes later and said wow I thought I was going to get stuck. I asked her why wasn't the truck road tested after it was supposedly fix she said it was when I pointed out the mileage in to the out was only 1 mile different. Well she said they'd have to recheck it again. Have to wait for a trans tech. Well I got a call yesterday 7/13 that it's not the transmission she doesn't no what's wrong and have to wait for some other tech to look at it. Here's my point I've bought 3 jeeps since 2011 I think I've been loyal to jeep. I'm paying for a truck I can't use and I'm paying for part of a rental as I have been told they will pay at first 35 dollars and I've spoken to another person and she told me up to 45 dollars. I really doesn't seem fair that after I've showed that I've been loyal and all I get is the run around

I don't know if I'm posting theses things right. Today I get a call from the dealer telling me that there's to much gas in the car and that could be the reason the transmission light comes on. Do they think that I'm a moron. What would the gas have to do with the transmission service light come on. If anything wouldn't the an evap code come up
