Hello everyone, I joined this site because I use it to help maintain my Cherokees. I'm in Portland, OR. I just sold my 96 Cherokee Sport which I owned for the last 15 years. I thought I was going to keep it on the road well past 300,000 but I ended up getting a smoking deal on this 98. I keep them mainly stock as a daily driver and for towing my 2500# fishing boat.

Could anyone tell me the differences between the SE model and the more common Sport model? I've heard suspension was different and that is what I'm interested in knowing. For an SE, this one is loaded with power everything, tinted windows, full guages, and a/c. I just loaded it with fresh LTX AT2 235/75/15 on clean 05 Wrangler wheels.

Wecome!
The Country model had the upgraded suspension. Other model names have more to do with trim packages/colors and alloy wheels.
Have a look here for descriptions of trim levels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeep_Cherokee_(XJ)

Yeah, your decision is not worth. Here get the solution of any problem related to your jeep. Mostly welcome
