Hello All,
Thanks for having me. I'm a "New" Jeep owner, in that I've never owned a jeep prior to this one, but I pick up my 99 XJ Friday afternoon. I managed to find one of the few rust-free examples in New England, 139,000 on the clock, and still runs like a top. Pictures are forthcoming. Got her for just under $2500 and can't wait to start getting my hands dirty.
I'm in Massachusetts presently (only for work), but am originally from Upstate NY. I am in Air Force going on 11 years now, and was a Vehicle Mechanic for most of that time. I have also worked as a Chrysler technician, so although I may have some questions as time wears on, I hope to be able to contribute to those in need as well. Other than that, just happy to be here and say hello.

Thanks. It is mileage. I wish it was km, that would be round about 86,500 miles. I'd have a bit of trouble getting her registered or insured if she was built for the KM market I would imagine.

Thanks for warm welcome everyone. As promised, here are the pics of the Jeep. I may have already found a small issue with it. It appears the fuel check valve may not be holding pressure. I have very long crank times, and the poor man's prime technique works like a charm. Will post in tech discussions if problem persists after I dig in.
