New Jeep Owner in Washington State
Hey Group: By way of introductions, I'm Greg; I make my home in Eastern Washington State. I just purchased my first jeep, a 99 xj. I did a lot of research before buying; and it seems like the 99 platform is hard to beat. It's high mileage, and bone stock. It's got 240k highway miles and has not seen much gravel roads; and has had no off road time. Its rust free, runs and drives great, and is very smoothe and driveable at highway speeds. I picked it up for $700; due to a broken sunroof(aftermarket) and a torn up center dash due to a stereo theft. I'm really looking forward to doing some mods to it and spending some time on the trails in the Ellensburg Valley. It's my first "toy" 4X4 in about 15 years, so I'm excited to get back into the hobby. I've gained a ton of great information already from the forum and am looking forward to more. Big thanks to all of you that post regularly; it's been a HUGE benefit!

Welcome Greg! I recently joined the forum as well after spending lots of time reading all of the awesome posts on here. I am also from Washington, but the wetter side of the Cascades. Have fun wrenching on and modding your new toy!
