Default New Guy with '99 Cherokee

Hello Everyone,
My name is Frank and I live in the Inland Empire of California. Just a couple days ago I picked up a 99 Cherokee Sport 4 door with the 4.0 engine. Price was reasonable. It appears to be well taken care of, completely stock, with just a few minor things to repair.
I hope to read and learn a lot about these trucks and meet some people.

Thanks CurrySoSpicy.
Plans are to fix a few minor things here and there. Go through the entire truck and make sure it's ok. Then change out the stock wheels for some black steel wheels to give it a better look and once I'm ready for new tires I'll probably go with a 3" lift at the same time. Nothing too crazy, just want it to run good and look good.

Are they rust free on the west coast?
What did you pay for it?

they are pretty much rust free, but you just never know. You really have to check it out before buying.

Mine is a 2wd, 4.0 and you saw the pictures above... I paid 3700.

I just saw a 98 4wd, 4.0 going for 4500. Outside similar condition as mine, inside a little worse.

Other day I saw a 2 door 2wd 2.5L that needed a little work going for 2000.

It really hit or miss on prices. Some people are fair and some are looking to hit it big. Just have to keep checking CL and have the cash ready when you find that deal.
