New to Forum no to Jeeps
Hi everyone:
I'm new to your forum but not jeeps. I bought my 7th Jeep last August 2014, it is a 1997 Cherokee Sport, all stock. It's presently in a repair shop getting a donor transfer case.
I have owned 5.9 ZJ, XJ, YJ, TJ, ZJ, JK, and XJ.
What I'm looking for is some a low cost method of giving a small lift to a tired looking XJ. Any and all recommendations appreciated.

Thanks TLang:
The title was meant to be "not new to jeeps". These old fingers and eyes, sometimes don't dance together as they use to.
I am no mechanic and do not attempt any backyard repairs. The majority of modifications, improvements, and Monday morning repairs requires a garage, lift, or cutting/welding talents, which I do not possess. Any work will have to be done at a dealer or professional shop. With rates from $45 to $80 an hour most projects quickly become rather costly. So my purchases are usually second hand parts with deliver and installation included. That way there is only one shocking sticker price per modification. The practical side of my brain see the overall price invested into a vehicle (even though it is a Jeep) shouldn't be taken offroad and possible destroyed.
So I want my Jeeps to look capable for any challenge but, being always in show room condition. I may be a mall crawler but I always have the best looking ride possible for my budget.

Thank you, I have been given a warm welcome to the forum and look forward to being back into the Jeep brotherhood.
Ask anyone who has driven a Jeep and they will not be able to describe it.
And they know that no other vehicle has ever given them that feeling.
That's why we say "it's a Jeep thing".
