Hey everyone.

I bought my Jeep on July 4th, 2015. I really have only lurked on the forums and read write up threads but I figured it was time to document my success' and failures of the '88 beast.

drum roll please...




The day I bought it. Had to put an alternator in it to get it moving.



First time on three wheels. Was fun!

Things I have done since I have bought this thing:
• Front bumper added with lightbar recessed in (back bumper is coming soon, welding my own up after rear cut and fold)
• Replaced heater core... yeah.
• Replaced steering column after it was stolen, and then recovered by me.
• Replaced steering column and gas tank after it was stolen the SECOND TIME.
• Installed new leaf springs to get a bit higher.
• Tons of small mechanical repairs that everyone has probably done on a 30 year old jeep. (Harmonic balancer, thermostat, thermostat housing, vacuum lines, and more!)

Things upcoming that I want to get done on the jeep:
• 8.8 Swap (Parts are slowly being bought, received an 8.8 for free!)
• Storage/speaker box in place of the rear seats I removed.
• Rear bumper.
• Center console + dash. Hoping I can find a mini console for an auto out of an old XJ or MJ for a decent price.
• Install the two new seats I have sitting in my room.
• New carpet kit.
• Hood vents.
