Hello,
I just traded my '82 Landcruiser for a '96 Cherokee Sport. I had a '74 CJ 5 when I was younger but sold it (not family friendly) so I'm not a Jeep virgin but have never had a Cherokee.
So far I love it.

i had no idea the cherokee was as popular as it is, i will be picking up a 92 this weekend. seems there's quite the following. it nice to know considering this is my first jeep.

It's almost like a cult. You'd be surprised how many folks love the old school squareness of the XJ!
