Complete newbie here w/ 2013 JGC Trailhawk
Hello!
Obviously new to the forum, thought I'd drop in and say whats up to everyone. Recently purchased a 2013 JGC Trailhawk. Never owned a 4 wheel drive vehicle that ran prior to this. Previous cars were Pontiacs; 2000 Trans AM WS6, 2005 GTO, 2009 G8 GT (still own.) So needless to say my new venture into the 4 wheeling community is a drastic change. Looking to do some newbie trail runs/camping this summer.
I will likely be spending most of my time in the Pacific Southwest section as I am from the San Francisco East Bay Area.
All of the work done was from the previous owner, so I am not even sure what it is capable of yet.

Another 2013 Jeep WK trailHawk owner here and want to welcome you to
the world of off roading. I've had the special fortune of growing up around Jeeps
and a load of off road vehicles and living in Northern California (near the Oregon border) we have lots of deep mountain roads from old logging trails to old gold mining roads and many in between all worth the lifestyle of leaving the paved roads and going for dirt, mud, snow, rocks, and areas where your GCtrailhawk is meant to survive.
welcome to the forum, these people here are funny if nothing else so hear them out.
Ok Id like you to add me since we both have the same Jeep. I could assist when get on here.
Check out my already posted questions, I have found solutions to my problems and created even a possible business ventures .
JUST AN FYI....these new Jeeps are such an amazingly comfortable ride on many gravel and rutted roads, the air suspension takes a lot of the pressure of all the
bouncing around and translates it to super controlled driving.
Yea I'm a stoked Jeep owner.

Another 2013 Trailhawk owern up North
CONGRATS, on the Trailhawk!
Let me know about anything you need to know or dont know. Ive taken mine everywhere i could so far! I have lots of information and we could share what we
know.
I can tell you this its more fun off road then on! The basic rule of driving off road and using your brain instead of thinking the Jeep will do everything(it wont) may be the difference between a good day and getting in a fix. Just some basic stuff here...http://www.drivingline.com/articles/...ail-etiquette/
try every park of the jeep on baby hills till you get used to what it does.
Always walk the area your not sure of first.
I grew up with 4x4s ( living in Northern California near the Oregon border on the coast ) but Im not a hard core rock crawler nor a Mall crawler But when I go I gear up for anything.
Keep me posted!
