Bringing you the twin 400's
OK, so they aren't really twins. I got the 94 XJ 6 months ago for $400, in a crank no start condition. The 98 ZJ cost me my 03 Alero with 160,000 miles and $400.
The XJ got a new batter, crank sensor (that wasn't the problem) and a new ring terminal on a ground wire (That was the problem). On its way home from work where I dumped it to fix it, Everything that ran off the belt seized. So after a new water pump, alternator, idler, AC bypass pulley, and belt it ran great. 1000 miles in less than 4 weeks. Bought set of rims and tires for a very fair price and some shocks. About $1200 in it including purchase.
The ZJ is my DD for about 3 weeks now since the trade. Needs driver door hinges and some minor electrical work, and maybe a tune up.
