1995 Cherokee

Default another cherokee freak from the Motor City

hey, figured i'de start out here and say "hi" and what-not. i just stumbled across this site while searching for replacement/upgraded parts for my jeep, and figured i'de join to get ideas on things to do with my cherokee. it's a 1995 sport, so obviously has the 242 in it, command-trac 4-wheel drive, and other than that no other special features on it. it's as close to bone stock as you can get, which is nice because that's less crap to worry about when working on it. When i got it about 4 years ago, it had all kinda of problems. since having it, i have rebuilt the front and rear brakes (literally, all of it), switched to a slightly better air filter (Fram Air Hog), replaced the spark plugs, installed all new Accel ignition parts, replaced the valve cover gasket, PCV elbows and grommets, replaced the horribly rusted radiator, and cut out the old exhaust system and replaced with a Magneflow 2.5 straight through muffler and not catalytic converter.

a few things i want to do is truck bed line the interior instead of the carpeting, replace the seats (mushy, old, uncomfortable stock seats), repair the headliner, repaint the whole thing, replace some of the busted up panels, get the Iron Rock Off Road 5.5" lift kit with SYE, cut the fenders to fit 35's with no rub, install a bored throttle body, spacer, and air intake kit. i pretty much have the direction i want to go with figured out, but i'm always open to better options that come along, or newer products i just haven't discovered yet. that of course and the occasional used parts swap.
