Default Advice/Help on New XJ

New to this Forum. Bought a 2000 XJ sport a while ago for a bit over $3k, and its body is already a bit beefed up. 3 on 31s. AAL, rough country shocks. Flat flares. Side step bar. New Wrangler duratrac tires. Roof rack. 134k miles. Was going to buy a stock XJ and build up myself but thought this was a bang for buck, so got myself few thousand bucks head-start. There are few dents to it though.

For instance:
Passenger front door is stuck, as known to be a common problem, and how can I fix it?

There are rust linings on the bottom of body, and don't really wanna cut any more, as this is my daily driver also. Sheet metal?. Rust oleum treatment first?

Would my insurance increase if I changed my steering wheel to '90 bar one with no airbag on it?

With the EFI, and the fact it's 2000, there are usual problems with the valves, head gasket, so is that true? When do I know and how to avoid it? My uncle told me to disassemble the head and take it to shop for rebuilt, then reassemble myself , anything to make it affordable and last forever.

Anything to keep this baby going into the Rockies.

Welcome to the forum.

No I don't think u can change the steering wheel.

Were he talking about the 0331 head? And since u have a 2000. U got that specific casting 0331. It isn't worth it to rebuild the head, but it's more safer just to find a Tupy 0331 head and swap the heads.

Googled up the TUPY head and did some research. Found the information quite useful. Thanks for your help, buddy!
