Default 95 Cherokee owner here.

Last year for my first car I bought a 1995 Jeep Cherokee (4x4, standard tranny 2-door.) for $2,250 in near perfect condition aside from some slight body rust. Since buying it I have installed a new radiator, a glass pack, radio/ speakers, seat covers, floor mats and just yesterday painted my gas cap cover flat black. I hope that someday this little Jeep can see some off road terrain but I'm currently broke.
I joined the forum looking for new ideas for my Cherokee and to show people my own projects.

Nice 2 door manual transmission Jeep! Looking forward to the build up. Do you have a build sheet for it? If not, you can email Chrysler and get one, it's interesting to know everything that came with it from the factory. Axles, gears, limited slip, etc...

My friends at Auto school keep telling me that my model is almost rare to find. There are a lot of mid 90' Cherokees around in PA but not many 2 door manuals.

It is kinda rare these days. My first XJ was a 94 2 door, manual transmission, and forest green with the tan interior. I lifted it with a budget boost, got 31 inch AT's on it, and an awesome rock crawler rear bumper with swing away tire carrier. Too bad it was totaled in an accident. I loved that Jeep. Now I own a 98 4 door, but it's a rare police package, so I'm happy with my new XJ. Keep it alive as long as you possibly can!
