Default 16 year old looking for a cherokee

-Hi im 16 and Im looking into getting in to wheeling. I know enough about cars to keep them maintained.
-Im trying to find a cherokee. This will be my first car. Im 16 and I dont know to much about Cars or Jeeps. I want to get into it though. I have about a 2k dollar budget. Heres the link to my local craigslist http://sfbay.craigslist.org/ Please reply with a link if you find something good. All that i know is that I want a 4x4. Regarding the XJ in the link, I'd pass on that one. JMO Looks a little rough to me. You can find lots of nice XJ's for that kind of money. IMO

should not have look too hard for a nice xj for around 2k. I sold a 1998 XJ Sport with 137k for 2400 a year ago and it was a solid rig and i live in the rust belt. You should be able to do okay out there IMO. Look for a 1991 or newer for the HO 4.0 engine. But some guys also like the Renix setup. I like them both! Check out locally for Jeep Comanches as well!

Alright will do. Im taking my time to make sure i get a solid rig.
